What is a "Cartoon Magician"?

Cartoons can to do all kinds of things that defy logic. They contort themselves in impossible shapes, are burnt to a crisp, have heavy objects fall on them and walk away completely unscathed. They can do all those things because they are drawings... if a person could do all those things,  they'd be MAGIC. KooKoo combines traditional magic illusions and gags with cartoon like abilities for a show that is a one of a kind experience that has to be seen to be believed.

Who are your inspirations?

The Marx Brothers, Looney Tunes, The Animaniacs, Roger Rabbit, Jerry Lewis, Abbott and Costello, The Three Stooges, and of course Sylvester the Jester have heavily influenced KooKoo's style of comedic magic.

How long have you been performing?

KooKoo started performing magic over a decade ago while working in retail. During the long hours when there were no customers, KooKoo would practice his sleight of hand skills. After a while, customers were coming in just to watch him perform and KooKoo decided to leave the mall and pursue magic full time. Its been amazing ever since!

Can KooKoo perform for groups with special needs?

From Alzheimers to Autism Spectrum Disorders, KooKoo has performed for a variety of groups with special needs. Laughter is a universal language that can be enjoyed by all!
